About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Government Recruitment Consultant to join our established temporary recruitment team in Melbourne. This is an opportunity to step into a warm desk with existing government relationships and huge potential for growth.
You will manage end-to-end temp recruitment across government clients, building and maintaining trusted partnerships while delivering high-quality talent solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a temporary desk focused on Government
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders
- End-to-end temp recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, compliance and placement
- Proactively manage contractor care and redeployments
- Meet and exceed weekly/monthly KPIs
- Stay up to date with government panels, contracts and compliance requirements
About You
- A solid track record in relationship building, opening doors and business development
- Proven experience recruiting within Government (local, state or federal)
- Strong background in temporary recruitment
- Confident managing multiple roles and fast-paced deadlines
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Knowledge of government compliance, contracts and panels is essential
- Results-driven, organised and relationship-focused
