About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Painter to join our Rotorua team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in their work and is looking to build a long-term career.

At Programmed, many of our leaders started their careers as painters. What begins as a painting role can open the door to opportunities in supervision, project coordination, management and beyond.

As a Painter, you will:

• Complete preparation and painting work across nominated customer sites
• Deliver high-quality workmanship in line with customer and project requirements
• Work closely with Supervisors and Forepersons to deliver projects safely and efficiently
• Ensure work is completed within agreed time, material and quality requirements
• Take pride in delivering a great result for our customers
• Contribute positively to a supportive and team-focused working environment

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous painting experience and can hit the ground running
• Takes pride in the quality of their work
• Has a strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards
• Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
• Is reliable, motivated and customer-focused
• Has a trade qualification in painting — desirable but not essential
