The Role
We are currently seeking a Training Admin Support to join our vibrant and professional Programmed Mt Arthur BHP team on a full time basis.
Reporting to the Training Coordinator you will work closely with all team members in the training department onsite. You will liaise with customers when required, organise onboarding paperwork and manage with the strictest of confidence while supporting the operation with technical expertise. Implementation and delivery of site onboarding requirements and competency validation.
We have traineeship programs on this mine site and you will be required to assist with inductions, tickets and internal compliance.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in our fast paced and dynamic industry. Working with a team of experienced professionals, this role will enable you to develop your skills whilst learning more in an onsite administration mining role.
You will primarily focus on:
Responsibilities include:
- General administration tasks
- Database management
- Data entry
- Providing assistance to the training team
- Assistance with rostering when required
- Onboarding/offboarding duties
- 10 hour shifts Mon - Fri
- Scanning and filing of documents
- Collating of training packs and documents
- Any other ADHOC tasks as required
Skills and Experience
- Sound understanding of OH&S requirements
- Attention to detail
- Confident, friendly phone manner
- Outstanding communication (verbal and written)
- Team player
- Ability to establish and foster strong working relationships
- Experience working in a compliance, audit or training administration role – highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, with demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality
- Reliable and positive attitude
- Sound computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
