The Role
An opportunity currently exists for an Industrial / Graphic Designer to be part of our Corporate Imaging team in Auburn, NSW.
Corporate Imaging manages the design, supply and installation of signage and other trades for single and multi-site re-imaging projects nationally. Services include project management of corporate imaging programs, project specific designs, montage artwork, management of manufacturing and installation of signage, and decorative fit out. We have a high number of repeat and long term customers as well as a developing customer base.
Report to and work with the Senior National Account & Design Manager and working closely with other team members around the country. Your role will be foremost acting as a signage designer/draftsperson. Progressing 2D & 3D signage concepts, problem solving through into working drawing sets for both estimation and production purposes. Additional daily tasks could include photo montage and renderings in Adobe or similar.
The Role will require lateral thinking, as projects are not formal architectural nor finished interior design. The role is best suited to an established self-motivated individual in the Signage Industry who thrives on seeking solutions and looking at options in a team environment.
Skills and Experience
- Industrial Design - handsketching, technical shop drawings, value engineering
- Graphic Design - experience working with corporate logos, photo mock-ups of proposed signage
- Mandatory Software Skills - Solidworks, Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign
Your ability to co-ordinate and manage priority tasks efficiently, to keep internal stakeholders informed will set you apart in this role.
