The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a focused and enthusiastic individual to join our growing team on our Melbourne Water contract as a Facilities Scheduler and Planner . You will be responsible for the successful scheduling and delivery of works, ensuring the service specific deliverables are delivered in a safe, successful and profitable manner in accordance with the client's expectations and agreed contractual obligations.
Reporting to the Planning & Scheduling Manager, you will assist in outlining best practice on equipment and asset management with a review of the client's requirements and equipment life cycle planning. You will be critical in assisting the business in effective and efficient service delivery. You will be based in Brooklyn .
Key responsibilities
- Establish and manage plans relating to scheduled maintenance in line with required contract requirement, timeframe and budget.
- Developing scopes and quotes for works relating to additional maintenance and defect rectification.
- Ensure timely provision of services meeting safety, timeframes, budgets and quality as agreed in contract.
- Maintain a strong relationship with vendors and potential suppliers and ensures regular reviews are conducted.
- Effectively communicate with customer to support the service delivery team in maximising customer satisfaction
Skills and experience
- Hold Degree / Diploma / Trade or equivalent qualifications (preferable), with experience in maintenance management and planning.
- Be proficient with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (Maximo)
- Have proven cost analysis and organisational capabilities
- Have proven skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Have highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Be extremely customer focused and able to build strong customer relationships with vendors and the client
