About The Opportunity
Programmed Property Services is currently seeking an Estimator to join our paint team in Belmont, Western Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a renowned brand in an exciting time of growth that provides top-tier painting services to an extensive range of commercial projects. This position is perfect for someone who is trade qualified and looking to take a step in their career and transition away from hands-on work. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for the preparation of estimates and quotations, providing detailed appraisals and maintaining effective communication with our clients and stakeholders.
Nature of position: Full-Time
Location: Belmont, Western Australia
Reporting line: Branch Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Utilise internal software systems to generate estimates and quotations for building painting maintenance and repair projects
- Conduct thorough painting appraisals across diverse sites
- Ensure estimates are scheduled and prioritised to meet business needs
- Engage in negotiations with contractors and clients to ensure cost-effective solutions
- Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders
About You
To be successful in this role, ideally, you will have a trade qualification or some previous experience in estimating with the ability to prioritise and manage your own time. Experience in the paint industry would be advantageous but is not required. Additionally, you will possess:
- Previous experience in a trade-based role
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Mathematical competency
- Excellent communication both verbal and written
- Current driver's license
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
