The Role
An opportunity exists for a focused and energetic self-starter to join our Auckland team as a Project Manager.
Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will be accountable for project planning, work scheduling and on site supervision of contractors. You will be a key point of contact with the client side Project Management team and the delivery of works on time with quality outcomes in a cost effective and safe manner.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this challenging but rewarding role you will require:
- Experience in and sound knowledge of providing engineering project management services
- Experience with Electrical industry engineering infrastructure and assets will be well received
- Well-developed contract negotiation and contract management skills.
- Knowledge of statutory requirements, regulation and national standards associated with planning, approval and development of infrastructure schemes, systems and processes.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing projects in remote locations
