Gendore Tractors & Machinery is a family owned and operated business and is one of Australia's largest New Holland dealers with branches in Leongatha, Maffra, Tooradin and Warragul. As an employer of a vibrant and diverse team, we market a range of world leading agricultural machinery throughout Gippsland and the Mornington Peninsula providing year-round support in Sales, Parts and Service.
Due to high demand, we are seeking fully qualified, part qualified and/or apprentice mechanics in both our Tooradin and Warragul workshops.
What does a Mechanic in Agriculture do?
- Inspect, service and repair heavy mobile equipment
- Complete routine and preventative maintenance tasks
- Attend to breakdowns with a good level of fault-finding skills
- Participate in toolbox meetings and pre-start risk assessments
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Follow safety standards and procedures
What about you?
- Apprentice - You have completed or are completing a minimum Year 10 or equivalent
- You have good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- You have a genuine interest in agriculture
- You bring a positive attitude, a love of learning and a willingness to tackle whatever comes your way
