QMAG offers a career in the resources industry while allowing, a home every night family focus while living in a coastal climate. We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join QMAG Pty Limited. At successful completion of your Apprenticeship, you will obtain a Certificate III in Electrotechnology. The position will be working a permanent day shift roster.
About You
You will be a passionate, eager, and motivated Electrical Apprentice who is wanting to commence their career in an organization where you will gain valuable experience from our mining operations and processing plant.
The Role
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will gain exposure to and participate in:
- Shutdowns, breakdowns and repairs of critical equipment, fault finding, root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
- Become competent in performing statutory inspections and routine electrical maintenance on site equipment.
- Develop competencies in raising work orders and other documentation.
- Work with other trades performing a variety of tasks as required by operational requirements.
- Gain understanding of industry Health and Safety compliance.
