Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 per year + Superannuation

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Officer, to assist with providing excellent service to all stakeholders, ensure all logistics activities are processed in a timely manner, provide support to the Supply Chain & Logistics Team along with manage adhoc activities as required. This position will be based at our Parkhurst Operations and will require flexibility with commencement and finish times.
About the Role
The Logistics Officer position will:
- Be a key member of the Supply Chain & Logistics team.
- Successfully apply Chain of Responsibility laws
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Consult with all heavy vehicle drivers, assist with drive inductions, and manage transport documentation.
- Develop an understanding of the order and production processes.
- Manage domestic linehaul transfers and customer orders.
- Container reconciliation
- Maintain our weighbridge data and multiple spreadsheets.
- Accurately enter data into SAP, Excel, and other systems
- Process SAP customer order dispatches.
- Monitor & action emails.
The Requirements
We are looking for people with the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Intermediate level of competence in computer systems such as the Microsoft Office Suite
- SAP experience is desirable.
- Excellent numeric, literacy and data entry skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- The ability to work under pressure and exercise initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills along with communication, both written and verbal
- Have a positive attitude that is responsive, respectful, fair, inclusive, and enthusiastic.
- The ability to undertake activities and tasks in accordance with all QMAG policies, procedures, and systems.
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and internal functions (Health Safety & Environment, Finance, Operational Support, Maintenance, Operations, Purchasing and Production)
- The willingness to complete all training.
