Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 per year + Superannuation

The purpose of the Junior Financial Accountant is to provide a development opportunity for an employee to gain additional skills to complement their qualifications and provide additional support to the Finance Team.
About You
We are looking for people with the following:
- Ability to work autonomously or within a small team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills along with communication both written and verbal
- Able to exercise initiative and problem solve.
- Punctual and reliable
About The Role
The role will involve:
- Preparing monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
- Tax reporting and inventory processing.
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
- Assisting in external audits
- Examining financial records to check for accuracy and compliance with relevant standards
- Assisting the preparation of tax submissions
The Requirements
Applicants who possess the following will be considered:
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business or currently undertaking studies in these disciplines.
- Working towards, or interested in, a CPA or CA designation.
- Commercial and business awareness
- A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data.
- Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints.
