During an exciting period of growth and change, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of complex life, disability and income insurance claims through investigation, analysis and assessment. You will be working in a fast paced, team- oriented environment where your industry knowledge, communication and interpersonal skills will be rewarded.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
The QInsure Capability Framework describes the core and technical capabilities (and related proficiency levels) required for this role. This framework builds on the QSuper Group competency framework and is imperative to enable all Claims Managers to meet capability expectations that are critical for the successful delivery of QInsure strategic priorities.
The ideal candidate will bring a positive and proactive approach to their work. You'll be managing claims with demonstrated attributes of integrity, resilience and exceptional customer experience in mind. The ability to communicate and negotiate both written and verbally is a critical element to the role.
The ideal Claims Manager will also have:
- Tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience in an Allied health role;
- Proven ability to communicate and negotiate both written and verbally;
- Demonstrated claims management experience;
- Ability to work in a complex and changing environment;
- Proven high level of critical thinking and organisational skills with strong attention to detail;
- Advanced service orientation and customer focus skills;
- Demonstrated desire and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment;
- The ability to balance our members needs with an empathetic yet commercial approach.
