What You’ll Contribute To
As the Senior Project Manager at Queensland Airports Limited (QAL), you’ll play a pivotal role in the planning and delivery of multidiscipline airport infrastructure projects across all QAL ports. You’ll contribute to the development and execution of strategies that underpin our vision and growth, ensuring our infrastructure meets future needs.

How You’ll Make an Impact
Leading from project inception through to handover, you’ll guide teams through feasibility, design, approvals, construction, and close-out phases. You’ll manage consultant and contractor performance, drive risk mitigation and WH&S outcomes, and champion project management best practices. Your communication and reporting skills will ensure stakeholders are engaged and informed, while your leadership will foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and innovation. You’ll actively build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, mentor direct reports, and support the delivery of ESG initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related discipline
- At least 10 years’ experience in project management and/or engineering, preferably in airport planning, design, or development.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects from concept through completion.
- Superior leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contractor management, compliance, risk mitigation, and WH&S.
- Excellent time and resource management, attention to detail, and proficiency in project management techniques and tools.
- Ability to work independently, motivate teams, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to meet drug and alcohol screening requirements and hold an Aviation and Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- Queensland Construction White Card and First Aid Certificate (desirable).
