Your opportunity
As a Compliance Officer (AO6) within QFD’s RTO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our training and assessment practices meet national standards, legislative requirements, and industry best practice. You will provide quality assurance, develop compliant policies and procedures, and support regions and trainers to deliver safe, consistent and accredited training outcomes.
Your work will directly impact QFD’s capability to respond to emergency events, uplift training quality, and maintain our reputation as a trusted RTO.
In this role, you will:
- Manage RTO compliance to ensure alignment with legislation, standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop, review and maintain compliant training policies, procedures, manuals and documentation
- Coordinate the regional audit program and support regions with rectification and continuous improvement
- Prepare post-audit reports and provide expert compliance advice
- Support curriculum design and ensure training and assessment materials align with RTO standards
- Maintain strong industry and stakeholder engagement to support best practice
- Provide guidance to trainers to maintain qualifications, compliance and quality delivery
What you will bring
You will have:
- Experience in RTO compliance, auditing or quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of VET legislation, ASQA requirements, and the AQF
- High-level analytical, documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to build relationships and communicate compliance requirements clearly
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to identify risks and drive continuous improvement
Highly desirable:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or ability to obtain within an agreed timeframe)
- Experience in curriculum design, RTO processes or vocational education
