Your opportunity:
Our Operations Hub team part of the wider Operations and Maintenance group is looking for a highly motivated Operations Hub Support Officer.
The Operations and Maintenance group plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of water services to our customers. We achieve this through the effective operation and maintenance of our water, wastewater, and resource recovery infrastructure.
The Support Officer is responsible for supporting control room operators and crew leader in the monitoring, control and operations of Urban Utilities water and sewerage networks, via a growing suite of enterprise systems, operational technologies and IOT to ensure real-time simultaneous operations, operational performance, prevention of and response to service interruptions and provide an exceptional experience to Urban Utilities customers and delivery partners.
About you:
Proven strong internal and external stakeholder engagement
Experience with control of work and work permitting principles
Experience with the standard suite of Microsoft products
Proven experience delivering exceptional customer experience and prompt resolution of queries
Experience working in water industry or customer service sector is desirable.
Understanding and effective use of standard office equipment standard software packages, with the ability to quickly learn role specific applications (Urban Access, Ellipse, SCADA, EMS, Genesys, Power Bi, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft packages), while providing technical guidance as needed.
Ability to manage conflicting priorities in an operational space that can be time critical
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work on the relevant 24/7 Control Room Roster of 4 days on and 4 days off (worked as 2 days shifts and 2-night shifts), including working the maximum planned shift length of 12.25.
