Your opportunity
As a Management Accountant with Urban Utilities, you'll help leaders make better business decisions through meaningful financial analysis, planning, reporting and insights.
Working within the Financial Planning & Analysis team, you'll partner with stakeholders across the business to understand performance, uncover opportunities, manage risks and support strategic outcomes. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and finding smarter ways of working. You'll contribute to budgeting and forecasting, provide actionable insights, and support continuous improvement through better reporting, automation and decision support.
About you

Highly organised and detail-oriented, you take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work while managing competing priorities. You build strong relationships, communicate confidently with stakeholders and enjoy collaborating to solve problems. You're proactive, adaptable and always looking for opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
You'll bring:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- CPA/CA qualification, or progress towards completion.
- Experience in management accounting, financial analysis, FP&A or business partnering.
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and business performance reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems and reporting tools.
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Experience preparing management reports, forecasts, budgets and performance insights.
