Your Opportunity
We have a newly created position for a Senior Business Analyst in our Finance team.
The future of Finance at Urban Utilities is evolving, and to remain relevant the Finance function must modernise through a strategic shift in its operating model enabled by continuous transformation across People, Process, Data and Systems.
As our Senior Business Analyst, you will be a dedicated analytical and project resource in supporting the implementation of operational improvement activities. You will be supporting the development and implementation of our 5-year strategic roadmap, collaborating with organisational stakeholders to achieve some amazing outcomes!
Some of your accountabilities will include:
- Develop and/or deliver a plan for significant aspects of the financial management and/or control process. Supports ongoing improvement opportunities in the efficiency of services, design and implementation of controls and compliance with obligations.
- Support the Financial Controller in the development and management of a robust operational improvement program.
- Proactively partnering with key stakeholders Identify shortcomings in existing finance business practices, and then identify, scope and implement value creation opportunities and improvements while developing and delivering projects or a work stream.
- Manage the delivery of feasibility and assessment work for proposed and current projects to support the development and continuous review of investment business cases.
About You
- Degree level qualifications in finance, business or a related discipline.
- Experience in a medium to large size commercial organisation with experience of delivering transformation within the Finance function.
- A blend of operational and project delivery experience in a high paced shared services environment, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
