Your Opportunity
Our Digital and information Group is growing, and a new opportunity has been made available for a Manager Digital Governance.
We’re at the forefront of digital innovation and we are seeking a dedicated Manager of Digital Governance to help steer our digital initiatives to success. As our Manager of Digital Governance, you will be a key player in shaping our digital environment to meet organisational objectives and compliance obligations to ensure value is created and protected. .
Key Accountabilities:
- Create, implement and maintain digital governance policies and standards that align with industry regulations and organisational objectives
- Ensure that digital initiatives and operational environment comply with relevant compliance obligations, such as Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act, Privacy Act etc.
- Lead and coordinate the management of digital and ICT risks, audit and assurance activities .
- Establishing enterprise-wide digital governance practices and mechanisms to improve decision-making and delivery in driving positive outcomes for the organisation
About You:
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about shaping our future, and ideally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, compliance or Business Management or other relevant discipline, and/or equivalent industry experience.
- In depth understanding of relevant industry regulations
- Proven experience in digital governance, compliance ideally in a leadership role
- Proven experience in leading enterprise-wide governance of digital with successful results
- Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills to obtain support and buy-in across the organisation in implementing and maintain required practices.
- A level of technical expertise is required to understand technical concepts and associated implications on the organisation.
- Strong background in developing and implementing digital governance policies and standards
- Ability to assess and manage digital and ICT risks effectively.
