Your opportunity:
The Risk and Resilience Group are currently seeking an experienced Security and Resilience Manager to lead and develop a team of security and resilience specialists. This team is responsible for implementing and executing Enterprise-wide business resilience and protective security strategies to minimise risk to business operations and customer services.
In this integral role, you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support enhancement of security and resilience capabilities to effectively eliminate, minimise or manage the effects of business and service disruption events. Your expertise will see you providing specialist advice to the CEO, Board and extended leadership team to guide the implementation of security and resilience initiatives.
About you:
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing a high performing team of security and resilience specialist practitioners in a similar industries.
- Specialist knowledge and understanding of protective security and business resilience frameworks, processes and legislative requirements.
- Demonstrated experience with strategic and tactical risk modelling and scenario planning to support security and business resilience strategies and business improvements
- Experience designing, developing & delivering improvement programs & processes relating to security and business resilience leading practices.
- Strong, collaborative leadership that fosters an inclusive culture and encourages a customer-focused mindset.
- Experience in guiding senior leadership teams on the continuous improvement of security and resilience maturity outcomes.
It would be desirable but not essential if you have:
- Relevant formal qualifications in Security or Resilience related disciplines
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within critical infrastructure sectors
As part of this role you may be required to participate in Urban Utilities Emergency Management arrangements in an after hours / on call capacity in line with your skillset. This additional work will be in accordance with your employment contract
