Your opportunity:
As part of our expanding Digital Experience and Operations team within the rapidly growing Digital & Information Group we are looking for a CRM Application Support Specialist to join us in a new role and help us enhance our CRM application landscape.
This role is pivotal in supporting the operational functions of our Information Technology Applications team across a variety of Enterprise Applications, with a strong focus on the Salesforce product stack.
As a subject matter expert, you’ll provide expert-level consultation, technical support, process oversight and work with internal development teams, external consultants and technology partners to deliver quality outcomes and resolve complex technical challenges.
Being an operationally focussed role, you will place high importance on ensuring the Enterprise Applications you are responsible for are highly availability, perform in alignment with defined KPI’s and are maintained in accordance with quality and security expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Confidently manage day-to-day Salesforce administration, including user accounts, data storage, system performance, and license management.
Support and maintain other business-critical applications, ensuring seamless operations and user satisfaction.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application stack.
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support internal and external reporting needs.
Contribute to application implementation and improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with internal standards, governance, and change management procedures.
Own and contribute to service management functions including Knowledge Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Catalogue Management.
Collaborate on broader service strategy and transition activities such as Release and Deployment Management, Service Validation, and Capacity Management.
Mentor peers, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
Support our Enterprise Applications users in realising the best business value from our systems
About you:
We’re looking for a well-rounded professional who brings both depth in knowledge of Salesforce and breadth across enterprise application support. You’ll bring
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject area (Information Technology, Business Administration or related field) and 8 years’ experience in aligned technology areas OR 10 Years experience in an aligned technology area.
Certifications: Expert certifications relevant to technical field or supporting processes (Salesforce Administrator, COBIT, ITIL, PRINCE2, CCNA, MSCE, etc) would be advantageous.
Salesforce Expertise: Demonstrated hands-on Salesforce product knowledge and sound experience with administration including implementing configuration changes and maintaining technical documentation and a proactive attitude toward platform enhancements and adoption
Broader Application Support: Experience supporting other enterprise platforms (eg. ServiceNow, Workday etc) with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across a diverse application landscape is essential
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Customer-Centric Approach: A strategic, customer-focused mindset with a strong drive for continuous learning and improvement.

Security Requirements: Security clearance/SOCI requirements may apply, depending on the role and responsibilities.
Performance of ‘on call’ duties are an inherent requirement of this role. This requires that the employee must be available to be on-call and to attend to work matters, both in person and remotely, outside of normal working hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, as reasonably required to fulfill the requirements of the position. The days, times, duration and frequency of on call arrangements may be subject to change, including at short notice, as required by Urban Utilities’ operational needs as applying from time to time. At all times whilst on-call, you must be fit for duty, contactable, and able to respond, including the ability to physically attend if required, to the operational needs of the business within a reasonable timeframe and in a safe manner.
