Your opportunity:
Our Operations and Maintenance team has a 12-month contract opportunity for a Project Manager Chain of Responsibility to join the newly created Health Safety Wellbeing Improvement Program.
The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Improvement Program (HSWIP) is a formal, structured program of works aimed at delivering projects targeted at improving Urban Utilities compliance to legislative and industry standards.
The Project Manager will oversee the delivery of the Chain of Responsibility improvements project. The aim of the project is to develop and implement a consistent approach to Chain of Responsibility management and governance activities ensuring a sustainable solution for Urban Utilities.
Key objectives of the project are to raise awareness of Chain of Responsibility obligations, identify critical risks, associated critical controls and implement an ongoing verification program. The project will establish processes to ensure controls are implemented and effective and executive due diligence demonstrated.
About you:
Working knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Law and Regulations and associated Industry Codes of Practice.
Strong collaboration with internal stakeholders is key, you will be working closely with the Program Manager, Program Change Manager, and other leaders across the business to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with Health Safety Wellbeing goals.
What we're looking for:
- At least 5 years of experience managing and delivering low to medium complexity projects, ensuring successful outcomes while maintaining excellent customer service and focusing on commercial results.
- Over 5 years of experience applying project management methodologies to oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring objectives and timelines are met.
- 5+ years of experience in the specific project area, with a deep understanding of the field and its key challenges.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, handle risks, and oversee contracts within large framework agreements, driving efficiencies to deliver value for money.
Qualifications, Certificates & Licences:
- Bachelor Degree in Health and Safety Engineering, Science or similar.
- Project Management qualification and certification. PMI or PMP certification from an accredited organisation.
- Current Driver’s Licence
