There’s No Us Without U. Care with Us, for Today and Tomorrow
There's no life without water, and at Urban Utilities, we live and breathe that knowledge every single day. It's why our people are so passionate about what they do and how they do it. And it's why we need people like YOU. Come shape our future with us and make a real and lasting impact across our teams.
Your opportunity:
The Customer Experience Group is accountable for delivering accurate and timely bills to 625,000 customers in Southeast Queensland every quarter, managing all associated customer interactions, first response to faults & emergency, customer complaints, privacy and case management, and Urban Utilities’ 500,000+ network of water meters.
This role will provide critical coordination support across all performance improvement projects and initiatives within the Customer Experience program of work. The Project Coordinator enables effective planning, reporting, impact assessment and stakeholder engagement across multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring delivery timeframes and performance outcomes are met.
About you:
At UU, we celebrate diversity. We genuinely believe that bringing together diversity of thoughts, perspectives and expressions is key and crucial to our success as a business. We’d still encourage you to apply as we we’re looking for the right human being for this role - it’s about so much more than ticking all the boxes!
We’d love to hear from you if you have experience working within project management frameworks to deliver outcomes, with a strong focus on prioritisation and managing delivery timeframes. You will bring hands-on experience supporting project scope and can contribute to documenting processes to enable effective change. You will have strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and confidently convey information to stakeholders. It would be great if you have:
Demonstrated experience contributing to group or organisation level projects and initiatives to deliver enterprise outcomes.
1+ years’ experience in Utilities operations, strategy or customer service.
Proven track record of meeting commitments and being accountable for results
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams, contributing positively and supporting shared objectives.
Sound decision-making capability, including using guidelines, procedures, and expert input to make timely, effective decisions.
