The Opportunity:
We currently have a fixed term opportunity until July 2027 for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our friendly and collaborative team!
You will support the delivery of services across Accounts Payable and Administration functions, handling supplier invoices and payments, reconciling supplier accounts, and providing timely, professional services to both internal and external customers. You will also contribute to ongoing improvement opportunities that deliver contemporary and seamless transaction services, while ensuring compliance with obligations and financial controls.
About you:
Experience in processing end to end accounts payable for a large organisation and demonstrated experience in the use of business software e.g. accounts payable software (we use Ellipse), spread sheeting and word processing is highly desirable, but not essential. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate. You will have;
Proven ability to provide high-quality administrative support.
Ability to efficiently process large volumes of transactions with accuracy.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to liaise effectively with all levels of internal and external customers.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Strong organisational and time management skills; able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Flexible problem-solving and analytical skills; able to identify data trends and improvement opportunities.
Effective at managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
