Our Maintenance Service team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Leader Pre Contract Commercial to join their Commercial and Partnerships team!
Maintenance Services part of the wider Operations and Maintenance portfolio delivers Urban Utilities’ maintenance program, delivering more than 100,000 maintenance activities each year, maintaining services 24 hours a day and seven days a week, through a range of strategic and tactical commercial agreements.
Responsible for developing and maintaining the Maintenance Services demand forecasting and coordinating with Procurement for timely market activities, evaluation, and contract award, the Leader Pre Contract Commercial leads a team of professionals to deliver high value commercial outcomes.
The Leader Pre Contract Commercial manages and continuously improves the demand forecast for all maintenance services, scope and technical documentation, panel supplier relationships and contract arrangements. The Leader Pre Contract Commercial will provide business input to contract negotiations and engage with key stakeholders across Service Delivery and Procurement.
About you:
- Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce/Project Management/Engineering/Legal or other relevant discipline, and/or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience providing expert competence in a senior or lead commercial role
- Experience in managing a portfolio of services contracts in a range of size and complexity, including collaborative, open-book contracts;
- Experience in financial analysis, setting and assessing contractual KPIs and assessing claims, including transmittal of claims information;
- Understanding of systems-intensive maintenance work-order management, workflows and practices is desirable.
- Strong demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary, integrated teams. You'll foster an inclusive and high-performing culture to safely deliver exceptional results.
