Our Digital & Information group have an exciting opportunity for a Developer to join our Digital Applications and Services Team. We’re looking for a motivated Developer to help us build, enhance, and support our enterprise application landscape — including Salesforce and other critical business systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging developer with some hands-on experience in CRM or enterprise application development who’s ready to grow in a collaborative, purpose-driven organisation. You’ll work closely with experienced developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital solutions that support our people and customers.
The Digital & Information Group plays a vital role in enabling Urban Utilities’ digital transformation — driving our data and technology strategy, delivering innovative digital services, and supporting the systems that connect our customers and communities.
What You’ll Do
Support and enhance Salesforce and other key business applications through development, configuration, and integration activities.
Build and maintain data pipelines, automation scripts, and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
Assist in designing and developing custom solutions, components, and integrations across CRM and enterprise systems.
Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues.
Participate in application upgrades, deployments, and enhancement projects.
Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration logs, and system diagrams.
Support data reporting and dashboard development to improve visibility and business decision-making.
About You
You’re an enthusiastic, hands-on developer who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and seeing your work make a real difference. You thrive in a team environment and are motivated by the opportunity to grow your technical skills while contributing to meaningful projects.
You’ll bring:
Exposure to Salesforce Developer tools or certifications (e.g. Salesforce Platform App Builder, Administrator).
1 – 5 year's experience in development
Basic coding or scripting experience in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
An understanding of APIs, integrations, or data pipelines.
Familiarity with version control tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
