Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Business Applications this 12-months fixed term position is responsible for front-end (Angular), back-end (.NET Core), SQL server reporting and unit testing in an Azure Cloud environment. Our office is conveniently located close to public transport (5 minute walk from the new Anzac station) and we support a hybrid working model, offering a balanced mix of office‑based and home‑based work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and deploy high-quality web application components
- Effective programming, installation, configuration, documentation, operation, monitoring and maintenance of web solutions
- Evaluating code to ensure that it is valid and structured to meet industry standards and compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems
- Undertake a range of analysis, design, software development and testing activities
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes
The ideal candidate will have:
- C# / .Net Core / OOP development skills
- Front-end skills with Angular 9+ and SCSS
- SQL Server / T-SQL / Entity Framework (Code first)
- Experience with Azure Cloud Environment
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
