Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
This 2-year fixed term contract is based in our Melbourne office located close to public transport and onsite parking available. Reporting to the Evaluation Lead, the Evaluation Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating the implementation of RANZCOG’s evaluation framework. The framework aims to evaluate trainee, member and consumer experiences, as well as the quality of programs and services delivery. The role will contribute to the design of research projects and methodologies, data collection, analysis analysis and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and delivery of both periodic and one-off evaluation and research projects using surveys, interviews or other suitable techniques or approaches in response to emerging organisational needs.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of data and contribute to the development of detailed reports and data visualisations.
- Distribute data analysis findings, insights and reports to relevant stakeholder groups to help drive data-informed decision making.
- Contribute to continuous program improvement strategies based on data analysis and findings.
- Contribute to a kind, courteous, collaborative and professional teamwork culture.
- Promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment and adhere to all work health and safety requirements.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Evaluation Lead and Executive Director, Education Development.
Ko wai koe | About you - Key Selection Criteria
The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of appropriate research methods and approaches
- Data analysis skills with experience in quantitative and qualitative methods
- Proficiency in survey software (E.g. QuestionPro, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, etc) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven track record of quality report writing with actionable insights
- Strong organisational and time management skills, including ability to plan workload and manage competing priorities to deliver high quality results on time
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated behavioural capabilities, knowledge and experiences consistent with RANZCOG’s Organisational Values
Qualifications
As an ideal candidate you will have completed:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (E.g. Social Science, Education, Public Health, Health sciences, Business or Marketing) with a research study component
- At least 1 to 2 years of work experience in a not-for-profit, government, university or membership organisation
