Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
This 18-months fixed term parental leave cover position works closely with committees, subject matter experts, educators and internal stakeholders to support curriculum review processes and the implementation of revised curriculum materials. Reporting to the Head, Curriculum and Learning, this role is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across education, project coordination and stakeholder engagement. We’re based in a convenient location close to public transport (5 minute walk from the new Anzac station) and support a hybrid working model, offering a balanced mix of office‑based and home‑based work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate curriculum and assessment review activities for RANZCOG training programs.
- Support the drafting, proofreading and finalisation of curriculum and review documentation in line with best‑practice frameworks and standards.
- Provide end‑to‑end coordination for allocated committees, including agendas, minutes, follow‑up actions and support for sub‑project groups.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and manage correspondence and enquiries related to curriculum activities.
- Manage the preparation, circulation, filing and version control of curriculum and assessment materials, and support the implementation of revised content.
- Assist with curriculum‑related projects and initiatives, including planning, documentation, communication and other duties as directed.

- Demonstrated experience supporting the development, review and improvement of curriculum and assessment documentation aligned to educational standards.
- Ability to maintain and update assessment materials to ensure consistency with curriculum requirements and best‑practice frameworks.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate and deliver multiple activities concurrently and meet agreed timelines.
- Highly developed organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate contributions from internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with educators, subject matter experts and committees to support curriculum initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high‑quality documentation.
- Sound IT skills and aptitude beyond standard Microsoft Office applications, with a willingness to adapt to new systems and tools.
