We're REA
With bold and ambitious goals, REA Group is changing the way the world experiences property. No matter where you're at on your property journey, we're here to help with every step – whether that's finding or financing your next home.
Our people are the key to our success. At the heart of everything we do, is a thriving culture centred around high performance and care. We are purpose driven and collaborative, which drives innovation and our ability to make a real impact. As such, we’re proud to have been named in Australia’s “Top 5” Best Workplaces two years in a row, as well as being recognised as a Best Workplace for Women.
Where the team fits in
The Senior Pricing Analyst sits within the Finance and Business Services Group, headed up by the Chief Financial Officer. FaBS is the engine room of REA. The team includes Finance, Risk, Procurement, Pricing, Contracts, Customer Collections, Payments and Facilities Management – all working together to keep the business running smoothly and make smart commercial decisions.
Within FaBS, the Pricing & Performance team is focused on how we create, structure and optimise the prices behind our key products – and how those decisions show up in revenue, customer outcomes and long‑term strategy.
In this role, you’re the commercial brain behind pricing decisions across our core Australian businesses – with a particular focus New Homes, Media and Commercial. You’re close to the numbers, close to the market and close to our stakeholders.
Day to day, you can expect to:
- Drive commercial outcomes — be the commercial brain behind pricing decisions across New Homes, Real Commercial and Media, with a focus on revenue growth and strategic positioning
- Partner with Product and Sales as a key thought partner, helping shape how we package, price and position our products in the market
- Develop and pressure-test business cases and commercial models that bring clarity to strategic decisions and quantify the impact of pricing initiatives
- Identify opportunities and risks across mid-to-long-term product and pricing initiatives, and proactively develop strategies to optimise or mitigate them
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders — you'll be presenting recommendations and landing decisions with senior leaders across the business, so your ability to communicate with conviction matters as much as your analysis
