  • Provide operational input for infield technology development and work with stakeholders to support ongoing updates.
  • Lead the development of our current and future operational leaders and support our branches.
  • Source, develop, and contribute to both local and global innovation plans.

Service & Productivity:

  • Develop and implement new ways of working for the planning function to improve productivity.
  • Systematically analyze opportunities for productivity gains and lead the necessary procedural and cultural changes.
  • Review and refine technical training to ensure its quality and effectiveness.
  • Support the migration of our training systems to U+ and sponsor reporting development to drive ongoing performance.
  • Manage staff resources by understanding the reasons for turnover and developing plans to improve retention.

Training & Compliance:

  • Maintain our status as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) through continuous review of accreditation requirements.
  • Ensure all induction programs for operational staff are structured, reviewed, and fully complied with using U+.
  • Work with the SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) team to develop, deliver, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work Method Statements.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all company policies and procedures, including those for OH&S and Human Resources, through training and awareness.

Competencies & Experience

Essential Requirements:

  • A business qualification (degree or diploma) or relevant experience in delivering scaled business.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a business leadership role with profit and loss accountability.
  • A proven track record of managing large, remote teams (5+ years of experience).
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and deliver effective solutions (5+ years of experience).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence and build relationships at all organisational levels.

Required Competencies:

  • Deliver Results: You set high standards and manage key milestones to exceed performance goals.
  • Act Commercially: You analyse industry trends, simplify complex issues, and make tough decisions in new situations.
  • Coach and Develop: You ask effective questions to guide people, recognise potential, and encourage people to take risks as part of their learning.
  • Display Leadership: You can gain the "hearts and minds" of others to build loyalty to a shared vision and protect your team's reputation.

If you are a strategic thinker with the drive to improve performance, support a positive cultural change, and lead a large team, we encourage you to apply.
