The Integrated Logistic Support Lead (ILSL) is responsible for Leading the development and ensuring delivery of ILS project deliverables in accordance with the Program schedule. You will provide guidance and mentoring to a team of Logistic Support Analysts (LSA) to enable delivery of ILS products.
Reporting to the Integrated Logistic Support Manager you will identify knowledge gaps and training opportunities within the LSA team to continuously improve the overall ILS team capabilities.
As Integrated Logistics Support Lead, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
- Work with the Integrated Logistic Support Manager in the development, completion and delivery of technical documentation and data deliverables;
- Track and report the progress of ILS deliverables as scheduled in the Contract Master Schedule;
- Interact with RDA business groups to ensure ILS is represented at relevant Project meetings;
- Coordinate and allocate LSA team members to efficiently and effectively meet ILS deliverable timelines;
- Review and monitor resource allocation and skillset requirements to ensure resourcing is sufficient to meet milestones;
- Manage daily execution of work packages and administration of subordinate needs;
- Identify, assess and report any areas of ILS project under-performance;
- Provide ILS subject matter expertise to enable mentoring and training of LSA personnel;
- Develop and implement effective practices for the management and tracking of technical data in conjunction with engineering and configuration management teams;
- Work closely with other elements of the Rheinmetall group of companies, contractors and the customer to ensure the development of products that meet the customer need;
- Establish and maintain effective, outcome-based relationships with all stakeholders including the Customer, other Rheinmetall entities and RDA departments; and
- Provide subject matter expertise of the ILS discipline as a part of the multi-discipline project team, including advising senior leadership on ILS technical requirements, interfaces and other project considerations.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Integrated Logistic Support;
- Experience in the collection and use of technical data in a Defence or similar project environment;
- Understanding of DEF(AUST) 5691 & DEF(AUST) 5692;
- Understanding of FMECA, RCM, LORA, LCC, MTA, RPL and Codification processes;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficient in working collaboratively;
- Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously;
- Demonstrate flexibility, proven organisational skills and ability to balance priorities;
- Strong attention to detail, reliably producing high accuracy products;
- Currently hold or meet the criteria to gain an Australian Government Security Clearance; and
- Ability to travel interstate and internationally when required.
