Your next opportunity

As a Storesperon you are responsible for unloading freight from trucks, receiving and checking incoming freight, re-packing goods, picking / packing and put-aways into racking/shelves. Our Warehouse staff also work collaboratively with the RDA Inventory, Quality and Production teams.

As a Storeperson, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

  • Receiving incoming goods, checking for damages and for discrepancies between goods and invoices;
  • Ensuring accurate documentation, labelling and storing of product is adhered to;
  • Operating manual handling equipment within training and experience levels;
  • Operating high reach forklifts with safey conscious and followed by site rules;
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse;
  • Assisting with regular stock takes and audits;
  • Participating in annual performance evaluation reviews;
  • Working positively and collaboratively with team members and stakeholders;
  • Demonstrating and promoting compliance with work security, health and safety, wellbeing and environment policies and requirements;
  • Other duties and responsibilities that may be required as determined with your manager from time to time.

About your new team

This role will report through to our Warehouse Manager and will work alongside 9 other warehouse operatives. The role will be based at our MILVEHCOE facility in a still-new and well maintained warehouse.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

  • Proven experience working in a large warehouse environment;
  • SAP system experience;
  • Competent in the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Forklift experience within a warehouse environment; and
  • The ability to obtain an Australia Security Clearance at a Baseline level (must be an Australian citizen).
