About the Team

This role is part of the Service Maintenance Planning team, responsible for coordinating and delivering maintenance planning across the In-Service Support function. The team gathers operational information from across the maintenance environment to support accurate forecasting, informed decision-making, and effective fleet and field service support.

About the Role

The Manager – Maintenance Planning is responsible for the management and functional coordination of the Service Maintenance Planning team. This role will play a key part in the information gathering from operational aspects of the Maintenance function within RDA to help drive informed forecasting and decision-making including fleet management support and field service activities.

The key activities this role will be responsible for are to provide frontline management to the Maintenance planning team for the In-Service Support function ensuring the effective scheduling and delivery of Maintenance, Repair, Rework and Warranty planning/processing to meet and exceed the contracted requirements and milestones.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: 

• experience in operations, maintenance, planning or related roles, with demonstrated ability to support or coordinate large-scale activities;
• Demonstrated experience engaging directly with customers or clients in a professional capacity;
• Strong understanding of utilising ERP-based systems (e.g., SAP S4)
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1) (Australian Citizenship required).
