About the Team

Based at MILVEHCOE (Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence) Redbank, our engineering team support our Vehicle Systems division. You will support configuration management activities across Tactical Vehicles. This is a rare chance to join a collaborative team of engineers, technical specialists and analysts.

About the Role

The Configuration Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining the configuration management (CM) environment, policy and procedure guidelines, CM planning, reporting and audits for the related projects. The Configuration Manager also ensures project related data is created and maintained within a strong governance and consistent process across the Company.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

Extensive Experience in Configuration management and Change management;

Sound background understanding of Project Configuration Management;

Experience in Defence contract project configuration management;

Skill in dealing with parts lists and drawings;

Target-focused, structured and independent working approach, analytical mind and reasoning;

Ability to influence people from different levels of the organisation;

Attention to detail is essential;

Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; and

Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
