We are looking for an aspiring Digital Design Engineer to join our growing in-house Digital Design Team to help drive Next Generation project solutions from design to delivery across our diverse major project portfolio.
This role will see you be part of a fresh and forward-thinking team; motivated by implementing digitally future focused initiatives & innovations, including but not limited to;
THE ROLE
- Collaboratively work with project teams (design and delivery) and functions (procurement, planning, cost planning) to deliver project Digital Design requirements
- Perform model quality control on design and construction models and advise project team on modelling issues with regards to “BIM” suitability of models, including
- Object creation and quality (suitability of geometry)
- Model Quality (structure of model/s)
- Model Intelligence (data)
- Management of the project’s common data environment (CDE) such as Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Project Creation
- Model management
- Clash tests creation and management
- Automatic report setups
- Power BI dashboard data setups and management
- Smart meeting minutes setup and management
- User management
- Technical support
ABOUT YOU
- Experience working with Digital and BIM technology
- A background in construction, engineering or architecture sector and have practical site experience focussed on digital design and construction
- A structured, process orientated approach in applying Digital design initiatives and technologies, as directed by the Digital Design Lead
- Problem solving capability and a willingness to face challenges motivate and upskill others
- An ability to maintain effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders through respectful interactions and meeting expectations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders (from projects to senior executives)
- The ability to self-direct work and be autonomous will be to drive successful project outcomes
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Academic training and professional experience involving digital design, planning and scheduling, and Digital BIM/VDC tools and practices:
- Experience with advanced 3D modelling and visualization software in project applications
- Experience with 4D modelling software in industry-scale project applications
- Experience with 5D cost planning software / methodology in project applications
- Experience in the Autodesk Suite of Products including Revit and Navisworks
- Experience in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Experience in Aconex
- Experience in training and upskilling team members.
