Position Summary
The position requirements include execution of the business plan, ensuring excellent delivery practices, maintaining field services team utilization rate, implementing employee development and performance management, providing commercial support across the full Lifecycle services portfolio, and maintaining a high-quality delivery level.
Responsible for building, supervising and leading a team of field service engineers / consulting resources.
Key Responsibilities
Lifecycle Services Business Lead
Through close engagement with the Lifecycle Services Country Business Manager, support the business plan that drives the growth and profit of the Lifecycle Services business in assigned geography. Look for and engage in opportunities to implement new business initiatives.
Manage new and existing contracts to meet company and customer expectations.
Assist in pricing and negotiations to win business and meet the company’s objectives
Support the sales plan and channel strategies and assist in developing proposals for delivery to customers. Liaise / support / coach / influence the Channel partner to promote the Lifecycle Services and meet the revenue goals
Ensure that adequate, trained resources are available in assigned geography to meet the on-going demands in conjunction with the strategic plans and long-term goals of assigned geography.
Provide consistent communication/feedback to the region regarding process improvements, customer issues, utilisation issues, etc.
Partner with other regions and subcontractors to ensure adequate resources are utilized across regions as needed to meet customer needs and achieve business results.
Oversee Field Service Engineers in execution of their duties. Manage the growth of direct reports via career planning, employee training, and performance evaluations. Identify and develop high potential candidates.
Drive the Critical Success Measurement process into the region focusing on the metrics.
Timely completion of all required field reports.
Adherence and implementation of all OHS / ISO requirements for the geography.
Delivery
Deliver Lifecycle Services to customers as part of the role in line with the technical skill set.
Others
Ensure compliance to Ethics, Standards of Business Conduct, other RA policies and the relevant government regulations in the geography.
Any other duties as assigned by immediate Manager.
KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS
Job Related Competencies
Advanced understanding of one of key delivery capabilities for Lifecycle Services (ie Services or Solutions). Able to act as a consultant in that field.
Intermediate level of expertise in Integrated Architecture, Safety and Networks.
Intermediate level of expertise in Standard Drives, Components and Industrial Controls.
Intermediate level of expertise in Industry Knowledge, Application Knowledge, Training Skills, and Customer Solution Centric Selling Skills
About You
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years field supervisory experience
Relevant industry certification for consulting field (ie: Cisco certifications for NSS, TUV certifications for safety)
