Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to coordinate digital transformation projects for clients in the Food and Beverage, Mining and Process Industries sector.

You have a background in management consulting and enterprise project delivery, with the ability to manage complex, multi-phase programmes that span technology implementation, organisational change, and business process optimisation. The Programme Manager will work with teams of consultants, technologists, engineers, and data scientists.

These teams will ensure delivery of digital transformation projects for clients in the mining, food and beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, and other process industries.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of digital transformation programmess, including digital system implementations, Smart Connected Operations, Advanced Analytics, and Machine Learning solutions.

  • Coordinate teams of consultants, technologists, engineers, and data scientists to achieve project goals and timelines.

  • Develop comprehensive programme plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Be primary contact for clients, providing regular status updates, managing expectations, and addressing concerns.

  • Monitor programme progress against measurements and adjust plans to ensure delivery.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between our teams and client partners across multiple departments including Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and Customer Service.

  • Manage risks, and dependencies throughout the programme lifecycle.

  • Document lessons learned and best practices to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Seven+ years of experience in management consulting, programme management, or related roles, with a focus on enterprise digital transformation projects.

  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects in the process industries, mining, or related sectors.

  • 5+ year of experience with digital processes, and IoT and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

  • With the ability to work with diverse partners.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Agile/Scrum).

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • MBA with a concentration in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

  • Certification in New Product Development (e.g., PDMA NPDP) and/or as a Certified ScrumMaster.

  • Experience working with enterprise software such as SAP S/4HANA.

  • Experienced in the mining, pharmaceutical, medical device, chemical, CPG, or food and beverage industries.

  • Background in management consulting at firms like Accenture, Deloitte, or similar organisations.
