The role
Sandvik is seeking a Financial Accountant to be based at our Milton office supporting our financial services business. The Financial Accountant role has full back-office responsibility for whole contract lifecycle as well as financial accounting/controlling for the entity, including reporting.
This role is full time Monday to Friday however individuals requesting part time work (three days a week) will also be considered.
Areas of responsibility
- Month end close process including reporting.
- Finance Portfolio reconciliation
- Preparation and review of reconciliations of financials and portfolio including identifying corrective actions.
- Budgeting, planning, forecasting, tax reporting preparation
- BAS/GST reconciliation, year-end audit preparation and compliance
- Financing contract administration, invoicing and cash applications.
- Asset management and funding of new deals.
Your profile
You will have tertiary qualifications in finance/accounting and experience in administration and financial reporting.
An advanced understanding of SAP and good understanding of credit and asset risk management. You are skilled in financial accounting and reporting (including tax) and independent in driving development and service minded. You possess excellent decision making and problem-solving skills, you are well organised, and able to meet deadlines.
