About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Support Engineer to support our Modernisation Transformation Sales and Operations on product packages, estimation and design for Modernisation projects as well as oversee the product procurement for local and overseas components.

The position will be working as part of our head office engineering team based in Mascot, Sydney . This role configures solutions and estimates prices for highly customised solutions that meet our customer requirements and support our sales and operations teams nationally .

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide assistance to regional MOD Sales with tender specifications.
  • Support with engineered solutions to custom projects with complex requirements and assist with costing for special adaptations whilst ensuring design complies with current codes and regulations
  • Ensure best practices to procure material on time and within budget for MOD Transformation projects.
  • Assist with technical enquiries post ordering

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role , e.g. Sales Support Engineer where you have been required to use your technical knowledge to create a customised solution.
  • You will also possess excellent communication skills
  • A strong attention to detail and the drive to proactively manage the project milestones to ensure that all work is completed within the required deadlines.
  • Minimum of diploma-level or equivalent formal qualification in engineering studies.
