This role is for a sales leader who already operates at the top of the Power Systems market and is ready to step into a position with broader influence, deeper impact and the authority to shape outcomes.

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Power Systems –Pacific Zone, the Director of Sales, Power Systems owns the commercial agenda for one of the most strategically important Power Systems portfolios in the region. You will lead at scale, compete head-to-head with the strongest global players, and personally influence the most complex and commercially significant customers in the market.

This is not a turnaround role. It is a market shaping role.

As Director of Sales, Power Systems, you will:

  • Develop and lead the growth strategy for the business unit as key customers transform through automation, digitisation, and energy market fragmentation
  • Maintain a strong market profile and senior‑level engagement with key customers, ensuring a direct link between customer strategies and the Schneider’s strategy to grow market share
  • Hold full responsibility for incorporating the portfolio into key segments, working closely with Segment Account Directors to drive overall sales growth
  • Grow people capability, increase customer satisfaction, deliver results, and drive the Schneider Electric brand through thought leadership, visibility, and value creation
  • Retain existing contracts, capture new business, lead the introduction of complex cross‑Schneider solutions, and foster collaboration across leadership and business units

You will lead an established sales organisation, with clear authority to elevate performance, capability and leadership impact. This role is about setting the commercial bar, building leaders and creating a sales culture that consistently outperforms in highly competitive, high stakes environments.

What It Takes

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Management, or trade qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience leading Sales, Business Development, or Account Management teams within the Power Distribution (MV/LV) sector
  • Proven executive‑level selling capability, with established C‑level relationships within Utilities
  • Strong understanding of Medium Voltage power distribution, market dynamics, business systems applications, and integration or adoption issues
  • Experience in contract negotiation, tender evaluation and processes, with active contribution to industry panels or discussion groups to advance market learning and profile
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to build senior customer relationships, represent Schneider Electric collaboratively, communicate effectively, negotiate pragmatically, and translate customer needs into business solutions
