About the Role

We are seeking a people‑focused Regional Sales Manager to lead our Clipsal sales team.

Based in Melbourne and reporting to the National Sales Director, you will guide a team of Sales Representatives across metro and regional areas and bring them together through strong leadership, shared purpose, and consistent ways of working.

A key part of the role is embedding our industry‑leading Sales methodology and driving a culture shift that strengthens collaboration, communication, and customer excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and support a high-performing and aligned sales team to deliver the regional plan
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture with clear expectations
  • Help embed our sales methodology across day‑to‑day activity
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers
  • Execute channel strategies to drive profitable and sustainable growth
  • Provide guidance, recognition, and regular feedback to uplift capability and performance
  • Ensure sales targets are met or exceeded through effective planning and execution


About You

You’re a people‑centric leader who enjoys building capability, shaping culture and helping teams thrive.

You also bring:

  • Experience managing B2B sales performance
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate strategy into action
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • A coaching-orientated leadership style that encourages growth, accountability and shared success
  • Technical aptitude with digital tools, CRM and data
  • An understanding of our customer base or industry i.e. electrical wholesalers or contractors (advantageous)
  • A passion for uniting teams, lifting capability and embedding consistent ways of working
