To support our success, we are looking for a Senior Learning and development Advisor to join the team.
What does this role involve?
Reporting to the General Manager, Business Support you will be a key member of the team.The role partners with senior business leaders to build organisation wide capability through learning, graduate, leadership and other related organisational development initiative and guides learning and organisational development programs that drive the current and future capability and talent needs.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Routinely consult with business stakeholders to identify Sedgman critical capability and competence needs and provide appropriate solutions within agreed timelines
- Provide business unit specific updates, insights or reporting to add commercial value to Sedgman leaders
- Leading the Learning and Organisational Development function and initiatives to a high client service standard
- Create, communicate and validate with stakeholders the Learning and Organisational Development services offering (including key policies, approaches and repeatable processes)
- Ensure reliable balance of technical and non-technical capability initiatives and related solutions, aligned to business needs
- Champion the execution of agreed operational program of work priorities, taking into account efficiency in achieving competency, capability retention and growth, geographically dispersed learning strategies, and the learner experience.
- Manage Sedgman’s Graduate and Undergraduate Development Programs including onboarding, rotations and development activities
What are we looking for?
This role will suit someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development or Psychology who wants to make a major contribution to the growth and development of people within our organisation- Have experience designing and delivering of capability and organisational developmental strategies
- Solid experience in and application of learning theory, leadership and talent development and organisational capability approaches
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership to support strategic business goals
- Strong customer service orientation and proven ability to develop strong partnerships with and engage/influence key stakeholders within and across geographically dispersed teams
- Experience in development of eLearning and utilisation of eLearning tools
- High level computer proficiency in MS Office suite; LMS/HRIS systems and eLearning tools.
