We are currently seeking a Condition Monitoring Technician to join the Reliability Services team.
Based in the Mackay region, you will provide condition monitoring services of fixed plant rotating equipment.
Condition monitoring services include but not limited to:
Vibration data collection including analysis and reporting
Thermography data collection including analysis and reporting
Analyse oil analysis reports
About You
We require someone who is genuinely committed to safety and ensuring the work performed is at the highest standards. To be successful in this role, you will have an in-depth understanding of the maintenance requirements, together with practical experience in condition monitoring of rotating equipment. In-field experience with alignments, balancing and non-destructive testing will also be highly regarded.
Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical or electrical experience on rotating equipment (trade qualification desirable)
Vibration analyst VCAT1, (mandatory), with the desire to progress to VCAT2
QLD Class C driver’s licence, unrestricted (mandatory)
Practical fault-finding skills, coupled with strong technical analysis & effective report writing skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Computer literate, with a knowledge of CMM systems and condition monitoring databases
