At Cognizant, together with your colleagues from all around the world, you will collaborate on creating solutions for the world's leading companies and help them become more flexible, more innovative, and successful. Moreover, this is your chance to be part of the success story.

Position Summary:
We are looking for a powerhouse Palantir Foundry Architect to lead our Retail data transformation. This is a critical role that demands more than just configuration—it requires a visionary who can architect a resilient Retail Digital Twin, lead massive Dataset Migrations, and ensure the production environment is optimized for high-velocity retail operations.
You will own the technical roadmap from Testing and Cutover to AIP-driven automation, ensuring that our Foundry instance meets the most stringent Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).

Mandatory Skills:

  • Palantir Foundry (5+ Years): Absolute mastery of the full suite: Pipeline Builder, Code Repos, OMA, Slate, Workshop, Quiver, Contour, and Vertex.
  • Cloud Flavors: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud architecture and storage services.
  • Languages: Advanced Python, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Infrastructure: Solid understanding of Linux OS and containerization concepts.
  • ETL/DW: Proven experience in traditional ETL/ELT, Data Lake management, and Data Warehousing principles.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Architecture & Ontology Design

  • Data Modeling: Architect the Retail Ontology (Objects, Links, Actions) to support complex use cases like supply chain visibility, omni-channel inventory, and 360-degree customer views.
  • NFR Management: Guarantee platform excellence regarding Performance, Scalability, and Security. Optimize Spark/Python jobs to handle peak retail loads (e.g., Black Friday).
  • System Integration: Design seamless data flows between Data Lakes (S3/ADLS/GCS), Data Warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery), and Foundry.
    2.Migration, Test & Cutover Strategy

  • Migration Specialist: Lead the migration of legacy datasets into Foundry, ensuring data lineage, integrity, and historical accuracy.
  • Test Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive testing framework, including Unit Testing in Code Repos, Integration Testing for pipelines, and UAT for Workshop/Slate applications.
  • Cutover Strategy: Develop and lead the execution of "Go-Live" plans, including shadow runs, data reconciliation, and legacy system decommissioning with zero business downtime.
    3.AIP & AI Implementation (Mandatory)

  • AIP Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with Palantir’s Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP).
  • LLM Orchestration: Deploy Large Language Models to automate retail workflows, such as intelligent replenishment, automated customer sentiment synthesis, and natural language querying of the Ontology.
    4.Production Support & DevOps

  • Tier 3 Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting for production pipelines and operational applications.
  • DevOps Excellence: Manage version control via Git, automate deployments within Foundry’s native CI/CD, and utilize Linux OS environments and external IDEs (VS Code/IntelliJ) where necessary.

Qualifications & Certifications (Optional):

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated, hands-on Palantir Foundry experience. Candidates without this specific longevity in Foundry will not be considered.
  • Education: B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Communication: Exceptional leadership and presentation skills; ability to influence high-level architectural decisions.

Salary Range:>$100,000
