Job Summary:
As a Data Modeler specializing in Data Vault 2.0, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, agile data models that support enterprise data warehousing and analytics.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of conceptual, logical, and physical data models, with a strong emphasis on Data Vault 2.0 methodology.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive data models that align with business processes and analytics requirements.
- Write and execute advanced SQL queries to analyze source systems, define data structures, and validate model implementations.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and data engineers to ensure models are accurate, scalable, and meet enterprise standards.
- Establish and govern data modelling standards, best practices, and guidelines.
Skills Required:
- Deep, proven hands-on and design experience in Data Vault 2.0 data modelling.
- Exceptional proficiency in SQL for data analysis, definition, and manipulation.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, business intelligence, and relational database concepts.
- Excellent ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and effective data models.
- Strong domain knowledge in the General Insurance industry is highly preferred.
- Experience with data modelling tools such as Erwin
- Hands-on experience with dbt is a significant bonus.
