This role offers hands-on training both locally in Australia and internationally, equipping you with valuable expertise and experience.
Based in Cairns, you’ll work with a wide range of products within our Pathology Laboratory Diagnostic systems. We’re looking for individuals with backgrounds in electrical, mechanical, electronics, avionics, biomedical, or similar fields, who are eager to engage with cutting-edge technology. We're seeking team members who are Hungry, Humble, and Emotionally Intelligent - those who are driven to learn, collaborate effectively, admit mistakes, and maintain positive relationships in complex situations.
A Day in the Life:
- Travel to customer sites across Queensland, including public and private hospitals and clinics
- Perform preventative maintenance, system updates, upgrades, corrective services, and installations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and timely service delivery
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships through effective communication
- Expand your knowledge through continuous training, including self-learning, online courses, mentorship, and hands-on experience
- Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety guidelines
About You:
- Trade qualified or university trained
- Minimum restricted electrical license (NSW/QLD) – D-class (VIC), or willing to obtain one (preferred but not mandatory)
- Comfortable working independently while thriving in a team environment
- Possess an unrestricted driver’s license
- Open to travel both locally and internationally on short notice
- Able to provide evidence of your permanent work rights in Australia
