Job Description
As Bar & Retail Supervisor your duties will include but not be limited to;
As a Bar and Retail Supervisor your primary responsibilities would be to:
- Manage operations profitably, within established parameters of ethical conduct and genuine concern for the needs of the company and it's customers in accordance with Sodexo standards and procedures including safety, sales, customer service, stock control, cash management, staff deployment and KPI reporting.
- You will be accountable for the retail store and tavern bar operations to deliver outstanding commercial results.
- Lead by example and display a proactive and flexible approach when responding to retail and bar trading conditions, ensuring innovative solutions are implemented in a timely manner.
- Ensure store merchandise mix, quality and levels meet customer needs and delivers financial objectives, including rotation of stock and high levels of visual merchandising across the stores.
- Foster a people culture by displaying strong leadership skills in coaching, mentoring, developing, recognizing and rewarding direct reports for both financial and non financial achievements
What are we looking for?
Ideal candidates must be passionate leaders, with:
- Demonstrated success managing multi-site retail business operations with strong financial analytical understanding.
- Sales and customer service must be strength and preferred candidates must have the ability to train and mentor these skills.
- Using your initiative with discretion and judgement.
- You must have the ability to influence and manage through strong leadership skills, coaching, training and development.
- Experience with tavern and retail management, are highly desirable.
