Sodexo is currently looking for an experienced Cleaning Manager to join our team.
This is a fulltime FIFO position on a 2/1 roster and is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and engaged leader who excels in thinking outside the box to provide the highest level of service across the Housekeeping and Mine Site Cleaning departments on site.
Who are we looking for?
You will be responsible for managing a team of 25 staff that work across Housekeeping and Mine Site Cleaning at our remote mine site village. You will ensure the team are well equipped, all cleaning equipment is maintained, and chemicals and products are used safely. You will run prestart meetings, delegate duties, overseeing rosters requirements, conducting cleaning audits and be accountable for staff management and performance.
Along with proven leadership skills we are looking for someone who is tech savvy, as reporting, rostering, ordering and staff movement are all managed through Apps and internal systems. (It would be highly regarded to have used SAMS and Excel.)
To be successful, you’ll require:
- Australian Citizenship, or full Australian working rights
- Able to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and police check
- It is essential you have experience managing large teams ideally from a FIFO background or a strong hospitality management background

Working on-site with our teams means you’ll be working 11 hours per day on a 2:1 roster (two weeks at work and one week at home), often in extreme environments. So, having a good level of fitness will help you get through each day!
