The role

The role of the Salesforce Senior Developer is to lead the design, development, and deployment of software applications, providing technical leadership and guidance to both internal and external stakeholders. Also responsible for the development and enhancement of complex software applications and solutions, using a range of technologies across the Salesforce platforms.
The Salesforce Senior Developer will support the Salesforce Technical Lead in consulting and partnering with business stakeholders, to design and deliver a roadmap of iterative business value and balance new feature releases with technical debt reduction. You will also support the Technical Lead in providing guidance to Salesforce Developers and Administrators, conducting design/code reviews and providing expert domain knowledge and advice.
Who are you?
Preferably armed with a degree-level qualification in Information Technology and Salesforce certifications, such as Administrator, Developer, Sales/Service Cloud, Advanced Administrator etc. candidates will have 5+ years’ experience in managing Salesforce platforms across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Digital Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
Candidates will possess demonstrated experience in guiding the end-to-end delivery of complex business applications (within a large and complex project) and experience in leading project development and supporting developers, acting as a technical designer/architect when required.
With strong experience with Apex, Lightning Aura/Web Components, SOQL, web services, APIs and integration, applicants will also possess the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- Strong experience in code management and source code branching using Git
- 3+ years’ experience in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, JSON, XML and SOAP
- Experience and knowledge in software development practices
- Experience working collaboratively and ability to influence a wide range of technical and business stakeholders to deliver quality solutions
- Experience working in DevOps, Salesforce DX, code deployment and release management
- Proven ability to work in a complex Salesforce environment and be able to map clients’ functional requirements to Salesforce.com features and functionality.
- Experience working with large data sets and bulkification
- Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to work collaboratively across the business
