The role
Our career options are as diverse as our people, we all have an important role to play. Our Business Technology Services branch are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join the team. This role reports into and works closely with the Business Analyst Lead as well as the Senior Project Manager and has a significant impact the utilisation of Information Technology applications, software, and services across the entire organisation.
As the Business Analyst, you’ll use your analytical skillset and experience to play a key role in enabling and delivering the analysis and articulating requirements for the enterprise; developing and shaping requirements for the Data Warehouse solution – housed on the Acumen (Analytics) cloud platform – and the KPI management tool, to support the needs of the enterprise.
Who are you?
This 12-month, fixed term role will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements of Data Warehousing and KPI Management capabilities and reporting within their areas, so experience supporting customer, asset or corporate applications and having sound communication skills with the ability to elicit requirements, determine actual requirements and lead business stakeholders will place you well to see success in this role.
We’re searching for a passionate Business Data Analyst, ideally with a background in reporting & Data Warehousing, that can demonstrate experience across the following areas in an IT or Business environment:

- Data Lakehouse & Warehousing & Cloud technologies
- Data Modelling - Kimball & Inmon & ETL Languages
- Database technologies including Data Bricks
- Data models & Reporting packages including Power BI & KPI Management Tools
- Knowledge of Microsoft BI stack
- Preparation of RFI documentation is highly desirable.
